Uniting Through Service (UTS) is a Rotary storytelling platform designed to help districts, clubs, and Rotary leaders share the work happening across our communities.
The UTS Newswire allows organizations to subscribe to curated Rotary story feeds and automatically display new articles on their own websites. Each section below provides an RSS feed that can be used to syndicate stories focused on specific Rotary topics.
This makes it easy for Rotary websites to stay active, share inspiring work, and highlight service happening across Zones 26, 27, 28, 32 and beyond.
The UTS Newswire currently distributes Rotary stories to readers across multiple districts and continues to grow as more Rotary leaders contribute their work.
The UTS Newswire functions much like a traditional news service.
Articles published on the UTS platform are organized into topic-based categories such as Areas of Focus, Rotary Priorities, District Stories, and Rotary Action Groups.
Each category produces an RSS feed. These feeds can be used by other Rotary websites to automatically display new articles as they are published.
This allows Rotary districts, clubs, and partners to:
• Share Rotary stories without manually writing content every week
• Highlight projects happening across the Rotary world
• Keep club and district websites fresh and active
• Promote collaboration across districts and Rotary programs
Rotary clubs and districts can use the UTS Newswire in several ways.
Many organizations embed one or more feeds directly into their websites to display the latest Rotary stories.
For example:
• A district website may display stories from the District feed
• A club website may highlight projects from the Areas of Focus feeds
• Rotary Action Groups may show stories connected to their mission
• Public Image teams may use feeds to populate newsletters or blogs
Because the feeds update automatically, new articles appear without any additional work from the local club or district.
Each section below includes a link to the RSS feed for that topic.
To use a feed:
1. Copy the RSS feed URL
2. Use your website’s RSS block or feed plugin
3. Paste the feed URL into the feed tool
4. Choose how many stories you would like displayed
Most modern website platforms such as WordPress, Squarespace, and Wix support RSS feeds.
Once connected, your website will automatically display the latest stories published in that category.
Stories published through the UTS platform are written by Rotary members, clubs, and district leaders who want to share their work with the broader Rotary community.
When displaying UTS stories on your website, please ensure that:
• Author attribution remains visible
• Links to the original article remain intact
• Images are credited appropriately
These practices help recognize the Rotary members who are doing the work and telling the stories.
UTS exists to highlight the work of Rotary members and communities.
If your club, district, or project has a story to share, we invite you to contribute.
Stories can highlight:
• Service projects
• Community impact
• Rotary partnerships
• Youth programs
• Leadership initiatives
• Rotary Action Group work
