Ally Buck has been the Rotary and Community Fundraising Coordinator at ShelterBox Canada since 2023. She is a proud Rotarian at the Rotary Club of West Ottawa where she serves as DEI Advisory Group Chair and is a member of the Free Reading Program Committee and the PR Committee. At the District level she served as the House of Friendship Chair for D7040’s 2025-2026 Conference Planning Committee and represents her club in the D7040 DEI Group. Ally is a member of the Rotarian Metalhead Fellowship, and the Rotary Fellowship of Camping.

Originally from Stellarton, Nova Scotia, Ally studied Community Development in college before earning her degree in Global Development from Queen's University in Kingston, ON. In her free time, she volunteers with her Rotary Club as well as with the Seniors, Kittens and Shy Cats Rescue in Ottawa. Ally is a military wife, she and her husband happily share their home with five cats, one dog, many fish and shrimp, and a revolving door of foster cats!
